Connect with us at the 2024 EPSCoR Conference!
Join us Tuesday afternoon in Omaha for our session "Advances and Opportunities in Use-Inspired Research and Education (UIRE)"
Join us this Tuesday, October 15th, at the 2024 National NSF EPSCoR Conference for our session “Advances and Opportunities in Use-Inspired Research and Education”!
About:
Embracing use-inspired research flips many existing research processes on their heads, challenging the status quo of not only how, but who contributes to and benefits from, scientific inquiry. This session explores implementing use-inspired research and education (UIRE) methodologies, highlighting current community-led initiatives. Topics include fostering cross-sector collaboration; developing institutional capacity and programs; embedding UIRE in K-12 education; forming community-based agreements; and fostering inclusivity for broad participation. Please join us to learn about UIRE, how the community is paving the path toward more inclusive UIRE initiatives, and how you can apply UIRE to your own work.
For more information, please visit the conference website here.
We hope to see you there!
Not able to attend? We’ll be posting a recap on the blog soon afterwards.
