Launchpad Learning Modules: Tips on Recruiting Partners
The Launchpad Umbrella Working Group has created a series of learning modules to provide an overview to use-inspired research practices and provide tangible examples to assist with implementation.
This is the second video in the Launchpad Learnings series, discussing some tips on recruiting partners for use-inspired projects. To view the first video in the series, an overview and introduction to Launchpad Learnings, click here.
The UWG is also holding a webinar exploring use-inspired research partnership strategies and best practices on Monday, Oct. 28th 9:00am-10:30am PT. Register and learn more here.
When initiating cross-sector collaborations, selecting the right partners is key to the project's success. Having individuals from various domains—such as research institutions, private enterprise, education and training organizations, government, civil society, and practitioners—brings unique expertise, resources, and perspectives that enrich project outcomes.
But recruiting partners takes time and requires careful consideration to ensure that values align and resources are committed. This sets the stage for meaningful and effective collaboration, leading to innovative solutions and impactful results.
Watch the video below, produced by Alan Paul, for some tips and tricks on recruiting partners for use-inspired research teams!
